25 weeks and 5 days

The past few weeks have been all about getting ready with things we need for Olivia. So about two weeks ago we went shopping for clothing. We went to Marshalls and we found so much cute stuff and it was super affordable. So tip for all first time mommys go to Marshalls or TJ Maxx. They have named brand clothing and its super cheap and super adorable! We also finished some nursery stuff its coming along really well!

My poor body is under a lot of pain lately my left pelvic bone hurts so bad when I wake up and my hips and lower back hurt pretty bad also.  My belly has gotten bigger as well and I finally gained weight! I guess it was bound to happen. I have gained four pounds for a total of six-seven pounds since i got pregnant. Baby is moving like crazy, and I think I have felt her get the hiccups a few times.  Morning sickness is on and off which is annoying because it prevents me from keeping my prenatals down. Sleeping is becoming much harder to do, it takes  me like two hours to go to sleep and i wake up about four times every night, so yea thats sucks.

CRAVINGS

soy chai lattes
rocky road ice cream

So this weekend we have our hospital tour, and we register with our hospital which we are so excited and nervous about! I can't believe two more weeks and we are in our third trimester eeeh! We also went to a book sale this weekend and got a few books for Olivia. Since Justin and I both love to read we figured we would read to her as much as possible so we are buying as many books as possible to create a mini library in her room, so she will love reading as much as we do.

where does time go...

Woop woop six months pregnant! Agh I can't believe in about three months we are going to have a baby! Super exciting but super scary at the same time.  So Justin finally felt some good kicks through my belly and I got to feel for the first time it was so crazy and exciting! Usually when we put our hands when shes moving she refuses to move for us. As soon as we move our hands she starts to kick and punch like crazy. She is going to be stubborn like her mama!
So this weekend I spent a lot of time watching blogs on other women's pregnancy journey and watching a lot of them made me feel so unprepared. Most all of them have like a bajillion baby clothes already, and their nurseries are all done. This weekend I am making it my goal to go shopping for most of her clothing and hopefully get it all done. We also bought her crib bedding and mattress this week. So originally I wanted to get her an all white bedding set, but Justin and I liked one that was black and white so we ordered that one and my madre almost had a cow! She said it was not suitable for a girl :-/. So what do u guys think keep it or exchange it for an all white one?

Sleeping has been horrible! I wake up like six times and it takes me like 20 min just to find a comfy spot again. I miss sleeping, but I guess I had better get used to it. I bought one of those pregnancy pillows and it does not help whatsoever my arm ends up going numb and yea its just not comfy at all. I have been having morning sickness a bit but I figured  out that its my prenatals that made it come back.  Oh and one other symptom thats new is my stomach feels sore a lot. Sometimes it feels like my muscles are ripping . Also when I walk for a long period of time my pelvic muscles and hips hurt :-(. So yea a lot of changes in my body.

I also had my glucose test this week and all came out good! No diabetes!!!!! But my iron is a bit low so I have to start taking iron supplements. Other than that baby is doing great! We heard her heart beat and it was at 152.  I gained another pound according to the scale but I don't think it was accurate because I had eaten a big lunch before we went in and I drank like three glasses of water at the office so I am going to say I didn't gain any lol.

I also went to my second therapy appointment this week for my anxiety. We figured out that the reason I have such severe anxiety is because I am basically isolated out here in Ohio. I can totally see why now, back home I was never alone I was always with someone, and moving here I am totally alone most of my days. But the good thing is she said that I don't need any medication for now, and she thinks therapy will help tremendously! So super happy about that. So keep us in your prayers guys!
